The 407 doesn't really score low in any category but this is the one where it emerges with that something that's a little bit special.
As an overall package, the 407 is certainly very enticing, despite the spectre of iffy reliability. Buy new and you'll lose your shirt on it, but buy used - even if it's just pre-registered - and you'll save a fortune while also enjoying the comfort, safety, space and equipment that comes as standard with all 407s. That's why you'd be daft not to at least consider a 407.
The Peugeot 407 is a large family car from the French manufacturer.. The 407 is available in three formats: saloon, SW (estate) and coupe. There are a range of engines to choose from, including both a diesel and petrol V6. The saloon variant is available with four doors, the SW has five and the coupe has two. The 407 is comfortable and refined. It's also packed full of safety equipment.
The Peugeot 407 replaced the popular 406 in 2004. Peugeot believe that style and design are important factors for consumers, and that buyers consider looks often more than practicality. Peugeot have therefore created and designed the 407 with that in mind.
On average the Coupe will return 33.2 miles for every gallon of petrol you pour into it. Not bad. Though this drops to a wallet-bashing 23.7 mpg if you're just going to drive it in town. 407 Car Insurance isn't going to be cheap at 15E or 16E for our model while the annual tax bill will set you back £215. Buyers can get there hands on a three year warranty providing they keep up with servicing. Peugeot Assistance, breakdown service is free for the first year.
