Justin Bieber and Drivesafe

Justin Bieber is a teenage heartthrob across the world, especially in America. Some might say he is a little feminine and sings like a girl, but regardless of how you feel about him, he has a huge following in teenage girls who hang on every word he says.

Which is why he is a clever marketing ploy for a campaign that is aimed at getting teenagers to stop texting when they are behind the wheel of a vehicle. It is in conjunction with Phone Guard and Drive Safe to seal with the prevention of fatalities when on the roads. The figures for these deaths are currently around five thousand five hundred per year, and is a tongue in cheek laugh at the newspapers who reported the star dead after being involved in a car accident.

"As a 17-year-old driver, I am aware of the countless distractions that we teenagers face on the road, and texting is one that is preventable," Bieber said. The drive safe application disables texting and email options when a car is travelling over ten miles per hour, in a bid to make young drivers wait until they are stationary before sending a message. This however does not take into consideration drivers who are changing their songs and eating food, another way that accidents happen in the under twenty one year old age group.

Justin Bieber should pay close attention to this, as he drivers a Lamborghini that was given to him by Usher, his mentor and the man responsible for his success, for his sixteenth birthday. Discovered after his mother put a video of him singing in YouTube, the singer who hails from Canada has gone from strength to strength and experienced success across the world.

If you are driving on the roads in the UK, whether you are lucky enough to own a Lamborghini or just a run of the mill road car, you will need Car Insurance. This is readily available online for a cheap price, and you can compare deals here too to ensure that you are getting the most for your money.
