Maruti Kizashi to be launched in India soon

The Suzuki Car Makers comes with Maruti Kizashi, the D-segment sedan crafted for excellence as it is the perfect alliance of Japanese work and European poise. Maruti Kizashi has been unveiled in the Auto Expo 2010 held in Delhi, and with Kizashi Maruti will enter the luxury car segment. Kizashi means "Omen" which it will prove to other car manufactures once it hits the market. This stunning car gives you pleasurable driving experience. Maruti Kizashi will be powered with 2.4 liter engine coupled with six speed manual transmission and CVT Technology with paddle shifts. It will generate the power of 131 KW @ 6500 rpm and produces maximum torque of 230@ 4000 rpm. The luxury car is anticipated to be all-four-wheel-drive which means the four wheels will receive the torque simultaneously. The car will come with a price tag of Rs. 100,000-130,000. The car will speed up from 0- 60 mph in 8.0 seconds with fuel efficiency of 20 mpg in city and 29 mpg on highways. Kizashi comes with stylish interiors such as huge cabin, ample leg room, four cup holders with two more in the centre, well cushioned seats with quality leather. The centre console is user friendly with Bluetooth, iPod connectivity and keyless push start. The car is well equipped with saftey features which include eight airbags, four wheel disc brakes and exceptional rigid unibody with multi link rear and reinforced front suspension. Maruti Kizashi will have a 21 inch wheel which is larger than the Honda Civic 15 inch. Maruti Kizashi is the first car from the Maruti group in the D-segment, which has been launched to give competition to big players in the market Honda Civic, Toyota Corolla, Hyundai Sonata, Skoda Octavia and Volkswagen Jetta.

The new car in India will be launched by Maruti in November. Though, it has not been made official but it is speculated that the car will be priced appox. between Rs. 12 to Rs. 15 lacs. Maruti Kizashi will be a sports crossover, it means it will club the features of SUV and a sedan. The Maruti craftsmen have already started to convert the luxury car according to the Indian Standards. As per the industry insiders, the car launched in the mid-sized segment cars and has created the ripple in the market and the chase to be on the top has already begun. The ace car has already reached to Australia, US and Japan and earnestly wants to enter the Indian Auto market soon. The launch date is not out but it is speculated that Maruti will soon launch the Luxury sedan on Indian roads. With the unveiling of Maruti Kizashi, it is expected that the car will have long queues for delivery.
