Toyota Motors has added a new member to the scion family. The company has made changes to the Scion tC specs.
The first thing they changed was the engine. They have given the car a 2.5 liter engine. This provides a torque of 173 at 4100 revolutions per minute and 180 horsepower at 6000 revolutions per minute. It has four cylinders and 16 valves with dual VVT-i. The compression ratio of this engine is 10.4:1. Its bore and stroke dimensions are 90.0 and 98.0 mm respectively. Toyota direct ignition is used and the transmissions available are six gear manual transmission and six gear automatic transmission.
The Scion tC Specs includes double wishbone for the rear suspension and MacPherson struts for the front suspension. Turning circle of the car curb to curb is 37.4 feet. The brake system has ABS that comes with both brake assist and EBD. Electric power steering is also available with the car.
The car uses P225/45R18 tires and its curb weight is 3060 pounds and 3102 pounds for manual transmission and automatic transmission. Fuel capacity of this car is 14.5 gallons.
Scion tC specs include the head room, shoulder room and leg room. The leg room provided in the car is 41.8 inches and 52.1 inches. Shoulder room in this car is 55.4 inches and 52.1 inches for the front and rear respectively. Head room in this car is 37.7inches and 36.4 inches for the front and rear respectively. The wheelbase of the car is 106.3 inches. Ground clearance of the car is 6.3. The MFR for cargo volume and passenger volume is 14.7 cubic feet and 88.4 cubic feet. The car has a mileage of 23 miles per gallon in an EPA city, 26 miles per gallon for EPA combined, and 31 miles per gallon on EPA highway.
