The Volkswagen Vento IPL edition, which will be marking its debut in the month of April’12, will be offered with a range of exciting features at no additional cost. The new features of Vento IPL II include dual tone interiors in combination with leatherette seat covers, specially designed floor mats and an IPL branding on the boot.

In a bid to give variety of options to the interested buyers in the Indian market, the company has rolled-out the Vento model in three petrol and three diesel engine variants including Vento Petrol Trendline, Vento Petrol Highline, Vento Petrol Highline AT, Vento Diesel Trendline, Vento Diesel Comfortline (recently launched) and Vento Diesel Highline.
Beating with a 1.6 L petrol and same capacity diesel engine at its heart, the Polo model is capable of outpouring a peak output of 105 PS in combination with a peak torque of 250 Nm (in both petrol and diesel versions).
Volkswagen Vento delivers a top class performance in terms of fuel economy, and driving & handling on highly congested city roads. While the petrol version of the car takes just 12.3 Seconds (13.5 Seconds for automatic transmission) to reach 100 km per liter, the diesel version takes even lesser 11.2 Seconds to break this speed barrier. The fuel economy of Vento petrol, petrol AT and diesel versions of the car are to 11.5 km per liter, 9.5 km per liter and 15.5 km per liter, respectively.
Volkswagen Vento is a midsize sedan which was launched in the Indian market in July 2010. Available in both petrol and diesel versions in the country, the Vento sedan has been posing a continuous threat to the supremacy of the segment leader Honda City. Moreover, it has managed to leave behind the popular cars like Fiat Linea, Ford Fiesta and Maruti SX4.
